Health Insurance For Foreigners

Insurance medical care of foreign workers is a legal obligation for employers who employ third-country nationals from outside the European Union, in Cyprus. This policy is a condition for the issuance or renewal of a residence permit and work of foreign officials and covers the costs for the provision of medical services.

Provided the following insurance plans:
"Plan 1 – Inpatient Care"
"Design 2 – Inpatient & Outpatient Care"

The benefits and the coverage is applicable for each project are listed in the following table:

Benefit delivery (normal or caesarean) lump sum The benefit is payable provided that: (a) delivery shall be made at least ten months after the start of the Policy, and (b) In the event of termination of the employment of the Insured Person, the onset of pregnancy was made in a period that was provided coverage to the Insured Person,subject always to the condition (a)	€550
Cover the costs of transportation of mortal remains	€3.500
2. Outpatient Care	Design 2

Coverage rate 90% – 10% is to be paid by the employer
